digital marketing Cambridgeshire
What a year! We have been talking to so many Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire based SMEs and we are impressed with the desire to come back from a tricky year, stronger than ever. We want to talk about the current trends to help you when reviewing your digital marketing strategy for the remainder of this year, to ensure that you have all bases covered.
Market Research Counts!
Businesses have adapted and changed in 2020/21 and so too have consumers, so check in and find out how they want to do business with you or how they want to receive your services. Can you offer both options, it is viable? Your marketing efforts are more likely to be successful if you do your research first.

Quality Content
Please continue to SEO your website and keep adding new and unique content. The focus is on trustworthy information so check your facts and use only secure links. Keep the user in mind at all times and their page experience and that should stand you in good stead.

Responsive Checks
If your website is not responsive and does not adjust automatically on a mobile phone then this is super urgent and needs fixing. According to The Office For National Statistics over 80% of adults are using the 'internet on the go'. Not only are you going to potentially lose some of this audience, you also risk negatively impacting your website's ranking on search engines who will give you a black mark for not being mobile friendly.

Influencer Marketing
Using people with a vast following on social media to promote your product or service is big business and is set to rise. This may be the year to give it a go!

Video Marketing
From TikTok to Instagram Reels, video marketing is a growing area of popularity and is certainly worth exploring for your business, especially if it is easily marketable visually like exercise based businesses or entertainment for example.

Be Inclusive
SMEs are catching up with the trend over recent years seen with the big national companies to be representative and inclusive. So review your pictures and your website accessibility to make sure that they can be used by and represent all in our society.

Ethical Trading
Many SMEs are super ethical and are riding the wave of this trend as they shouted about it from the beginning. If you haven't, then think about how you can share your sustainability practices, as these are really important to consumers and therefore play a part in their choosing of a supplier.

Everyone at Leading Motion wants to wish success to all our fellow SMEs this year and beyond and we hope that these pointers give you food for thought. Keep going and if we can help then do get in touch
